Overview

The Senior Enterprise Applications Analyst is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing enterprise and clinical business applications, including electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other core operational platforms. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that support both provider and health plan operations.

This individual serves as a senior functional and technical liaison, contributing to system design, configuration, analysis, testing, and production support. The role also plays a key part in driving continuous improvement, ensuring system integrity, and supporting critical workflows across clinical, operational, and administrative domains.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements across enterprise and clinical systems.
  • Lead support and optimization efforts for EMR and other enterprise applications, ensuring system stability, performance, and data integrity.
  • Act as a senior liaison between business units (clinical, operations, and health plan teams) and IT, translating business needs into scalable system solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, integration teams, and vendors to design, configure, and support system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution across internal and external teams.
  • Participate in and help lead the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Develop and oversee execution of test plans (unit, integration, and UAT), ensuring high-quality system delivery.
  • Analyze cross-system workflows (clinical, operational, and administrative) and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and scalability.
  • Manage escalated support tickets and identify trends to recommend strategic, long-term solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including process flows, configurations, and user guides.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Support audits, regulatory compliance, and data integrity initiatives across enterprise and clinical systems.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives and special projects involving integrated healthcare systems.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of EMR platforms and enterprise applications in healthcare environments.
  • Knowledge of workflows across clinical care delivery, home care, and/or health plan operations.
  • Experience with system integrations, data flows, and interoperability concepts.
  • Solid knowledge of SDLC methodologies and systems analysis practices.
  • Ability to evaluate system capabilities, limitations, and integration points across enterprise platforms.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and managing production support environments.

  • Exposure to vendor-managed healthcare platforms and third-party integrations.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related discipline, or the equivalent Required

Work Experience:

  • 4 + years of experience in enterprise applications, systems analysis, or healthcare IT environments.
  • Hands-on experience supporting EMR systems and enterprise applications in a functional, technical, or hybrid capacity.
  • Experience working in environments supporting both provider and health plan business models strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to system implementations, enhancements, and production support.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.

Pay Range

USD $93,400.00 - USD $116,800.00 /Yr.
