Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated General Manager to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

Customer & Sales Leadership



  • Customer Advocacy: Align with front-line sellers to support customer relationships and secure business; represent the Pavion brand and advocate for customers. Customers are your TOP priority above all other duties
  • Strategic Sales Engagement: Drive the cross-sell program, support sales processes and pipeline management, and participate in pursuing strategic projects and key accounts
  • Pipeline Development: Manage the creation and maintenance of sales pipelines, including new logo capture and account management for top clients. Ensure adoption and accuracy of the CRM system
  • Sales Growth: Lead local sales organization for YoY growth in securing new logs and expanding customer base


Financial & Operational Performance



  • Revenue Growth: Lead revenue generation efforts by optimizing installation and service delivery with effective use of technical staff and subcontractors
  • Gross Margin Optimization: Improve gross margins through strategic resource allocation, proactive backlog management, supply chain efficiencies, and project workforce utilization
  • Cash Flow Leadership: Drive branch-level cash performance by ensuring timely billing, reducing underbilling, accelerating collections, and improving DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), Maintain visibility into job costing, backlog, and WIP (Work in Progress) to proactively address risks to cash flow
  • EBITA & Financial Management: Responsible for the management of the Branch P&L. Forecast and manage cost structures, budgeting, and resource investments to achieve EBITA targets. Leverage financial reporting and KPIs to make data-informed decisions and course-correct as needed


Resource & Program Management



  • Resource Utilization: Maximize the effectiveness of shared services, ERP/CRM/CPQ platforms, new offerings, and marketing-led initiatives to support sales and operations
  • Shared Services Alignment: Act as the key link between the branch and corporate teams-Sales, Service, HR, Procurement, and Finance-to ensure alignment, streamline execution, and drive results. Branch Managers are essential to the success of shared services through active local engagement and leadership
  • Corporate Compliance: Ensure compliance with corporate policies, programs, and change management processes


Safety & Risk Management



  • Safety Leadership: Lead by example to achieve a zero-harm environment; enforce safety compliance policies including PPE and driving requirements


Team Leadership & Execution




  • Daily Leadership Presence: Provide consistent, in-office leadership by setting expectations, communicating goals clearly, and inspiring team performance


  • Culture Champion: Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable office culture that emphasizes teamwork, recognition, and continuous improvement. Lead by example in creating an environment where employees feel engaged, supported, and aligned with Pavion's core values


  • Talent Development & Succession Planning: Lead with a servant leadership mindset to develop team members, align annual goals with company strategy, and ensure succession planning for key roles


  • Execution Excellence: Fill critical open roles, establish clear roles between sales and operations, and drive effective activities that support business growth and delivery


Basic Qualifications:



  • 7+ years of security industry experience
  • Ability to attract and retain top talent
  • Track record of growth and business performance
  • Valid Drivers' License and Clean Driving Record


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience leading sellers and leaders of sellers
  • Proven history of sales success identifying and developing (hunting) new business opportunities as well as finding and retaining key sales talent.
  • Business acumen to stay ahead of revenue needs and ensure sales meet or exceed commitments to deliver profitability results.
  • Experience building network of business relationships to create sales opportunities
  • Excellent problem-solving and meeting facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
