California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Dakota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Washington DC, Wyoming Looking to add two Digital Experience Strategist roles at mid-level experience to support their team transformation from focusing on the web page themselves to focusing on the overall user journey. This is a 9-month contract with potential to convert permanent (conversion salary midpoint is 92K). The Digital Experience Strategist II serves as the lead for primary digital channels under the direction of the Digital Experience manager. Operating within established organizational and digital strategies, this role leads the day-to-day execution, optimization and ongoing stewardship of site structure, navigation and end-to-end user journeys to ensure cohesive, high-quality experiences across channels. The strategist applies analytics, audience insights and user experience best practices to inform recommendations and guide execution, while ensuring alignment with WCAG accessibility standards, brand guidelines and enterprise digital standards. *Skills* Digital Platforms, User Journey, web content, sitecore, Contentful, SEO, AEO, GEO *Additional Skills & Qualifications* ESSENTIAL DUTIES *Serve as the lead on the organization's primary digital channels, ensuring site structure, navigation and user journeys remain intuitive, accurate and aligned with enterprise priorities * Monitor and maintain end-to-end journey integrity across all major touchpoints; identify friction points and implement solutions * Lead and evolve DXP publishing workflows and standards to ensure quality, compliance and efficiency *Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IS, operations, clinical stakeholders and HR to align work with established priorities and roadmaps *Define expected experience outcomes in collaboration with stakeholders to establish clear, measurable performance benchmarks *Understand and apply SEO/AEO/GEO strategies, structured data and internal linking to improve visibility and relevance *Implement approved AI agents in publishing workflows, identify areas for efficiency gains and workflow improvement; conduct audits to ensure compliance and consistency *Run A/B or multivariate tests to help analyze and recommend steps to reduce friction and improve user journeys * Stay informed on digital experience trends and best practices *3-5 years in digital strategy and/or content management with progressive responsibility(JL1.1) *Familiarity with healthcare or complex enterprise(JL2.1) websites preferred *Proficiency with content management systems, digital experience platforms and analytics tools *understanding of SEO/AEO/GEO and accessibility (WCAG) principles *Experience with testing platforms *Strong problem-solving and learning mindset *Proven ability to manage tasks against production schedules and deadlines *Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects in a deadline-driven environment *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
