Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Services Coordinator to support our dental team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless patient experience-from registration and scheduling to payment collection and coordination with dental students. Key Responsibilities * Manage the patient registration process, including collecting demographic and insurance information * Determine appropriate service fees and handle payment collection at time of service * Serve as a liaison between dental students and patients, ensuring clear communication and coordination * Schedule and confirm appointments, maintaining an organized and efficient calendar * Accept and process patient referrals * Verify dental procedure codes and ensure accuracy for billing and reimbursement * Conduct appointment reminders and follow-ups to improve patient attendance * Prepare and reconcile daily financial transactions, including bank deposits Required Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (dental experience strongly preferred) * Minimum 2 years of customer service experience * Strong knowledge of patient scheduling systems and Microsoft Office tools * Understanding of third-party reimbursement processes Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
