This is a hybrid position.

Job Summary:

As the HR Administrative Assistant supporting Partners in Community Supports (PICS), you will provide administrative support to the HR department, other departments within PICS, and to the individuals accessing PICS services. This position requires regular interaction with a variety of people, including participants and their families, HR staff, other internal PICS staff, and external agencies or third parties.

This position will be responsible for managing inbound calls, data entry, monitoring email accounts and responding to internal and external requests, handling outgoing mail requests, distribution of incoming requests to appropriate team members, and providing project support. This position will serve as the main point of contact within the PICS HR department, providing quality customer service to individuals accessing PICS services. This position works independently and supports the PICS HR department with complex administrative tasks, focusing on quality and efficiency to ensure a smooth workflow.

Position Requirements:



  • High School diploma (or equivalent GED) is required.
  • Administrative experience required. Related experience in Human Resources preferred.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills with a quality focus, attention to detail, and creativity with ideas and recommendations for productivity and efficiency.
  • Proficiency working with a variety of software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others using the phone/email/in-person.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage details, prioritize work and work effectively with deadlines and time constraints.
  • Bi-lingual (i.e., English with Spanish or Somali or Hmong, etc.) is preferred.
