* Field Auditing & Coaching: Conduct rigorous field safety audits and behavioral observations, providing real-time technical coaching to crews on grounding, PPE, and arc flash mitigation.

* Critical Incident Leadership: Direct comprehensive root-cause analysis (RCA) for all electrical incidents and near-misses; develop and track corrective actions to prevent recurrence across the enterprise.

* Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E, and NESC compliance during regulatory inspections or client audits.

* Safety Program Innovation: Develop and implement site-specific safety plans for complex utility projects, including renewable energy integrations (Solar/BESS) and substation retrofits.

Mandatory Qualifications

* Experience: 10+ years of progressive safety leadership in the electrical utility sector, ideally with a background as a Qualified Electrical Worker (Journeyman Lineman).

* Education: Certified Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field (extensive field experience may be substituted).

- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CUSP (Certified Utility Safety Professional).

- OSHA 500 (Authorized Construction Trainer).

- CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor certification.

Technical Skills & Requirements

* High-Voltage Expertise: Expert knowledge of 13.8kV to 500kV+ systems, including aerial support, underground distribution, and GIS/AIS switchgear.

* Physical Capability: Ability to access all points of a construction site, including climbing poles/towers and working in inclement weather or emergency storm conditions.
