Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, screening practices, and security-related protocols appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical support calls, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and visitor activity, verify access permissions, and document security-related concerns, observations, and/or incidents according to post orders.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel during emergencies, de-escalation situations, and policy-related enforcement by maintaining a visible presence and following reporting and response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
