Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and donors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior while supporting established check-in and identification procedures.
• Assist with de-escalation, directional support, and routine security-related presence in public and restricted areas to help to deter issues and support daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
