Performs scheduling functions asdesignatedby practice.Schedules surgeries,proceduresand diagnostic testing. Requires general knowledge of specified surgical procedures, exam preparations, examsequencingand other related functions.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

1. Demonstrated knowledge ofMedicalterminology
2. One yearofmedical related clerical experience

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

1. Previousexperience in hospital/medical office schedulingenvironment.
2. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of a computerized scheduling system
3. Prior experience in insurance precertification
4. One (1) year secretarial experience at a healthcare organization.
