Data and Documentation Technician I Position Overview Data and Documentation Technician I provides highquality support to internal and external customers by managing technical documentation, addressing qualityrelated inquiries, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and food safety standards. This role serves as a key liaison between customers and crossfunctional teams, ensuring accurate, timely information exchange and a positive customer experience across global markets. As part of the Customer Quality organization, this position works closely with Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Product Management, and Commercial teams to support customer requirements and product documentation, while driving continuous improvement in quality processes and systems. Key Responsibilities Customer Support & Documentation
- Manage customer requests and inquiries related to technical documentation, quality information, and product data using centralized document and data repositories.
- Serve as firstline support for customer documentation and quality questions, escalating complex topics to subject matter experts as needed.
- Create, maintain, and distribute customerfacing documentation, including Product Descriptions, Certificates of Analysis, Statements, and certifications.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to applicable quality management systems, food safety regulations, and accreditation standards, including ISO, FSSC 22000, GFSI, cGMP, HACCP.
- Support regulatory and product registration requirements as needed, including Kosher and Halal documentation.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Develop, maintain, and implement policies, procedures, and training materials to ensure consistent execution of responsibilities.
- Identify trends in customer demands and support the expansion of standard documentation, templates, and automation solutions.
- Partner with crossfunctional stakeholders including QA, QC, Regulatory, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and Product Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in quality assurance, regulatory, customer quality, food ingredients, dietary supplements, or pharmaceutical environments preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically, manage multiple priorities, and deliver accurate results with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with IT platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, SharePoint, or similar systems
- Familiarity with quality and food safety systems (e.g., GMP, HACCP, ISO, FSSC 22000).
- Technical aptitude to understand products, processes, and documentation requirements.
- Customerfocused, serviceoriented mindset.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, crossfunctional environment.
- Positive attitude with strong collaboration skills.
Work Schedule & Environment
- Monday-Friday, standard business hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST)
- Hybrid schedule with minimum of two days onsite per week
