Description Job Title: Wave Solder Machine Operator Location: Melbourne, FL Employment Type: Temp to direct Industry: Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Compensation: $17.00-$19.00 (depending upon experience) +10% shift differential Schedule: 3rd Shift (Sun-Thur 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) About the Opportunity: Join our production team as a Manufacturing Operator supporting the assembly and processing of printed circuit boards in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. In this role, you will operate specialized soldering and assembly equipment, perform inspections and rework activities, and help ensure products meet quality, safety, and IPC standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on technical work and contributing to high-quality manufacturing operations. What You'll Do: Set up, operate, and maintain wave solder, cleaning, potting, and other PCB assembly equipment to support production requirements. Inspect printed circuit board assemblies before and after solder operations to ensure compliance with IPC and quality standards. Perform rework, washing, and related assembly support tasks while ensuring proper handling of controlled materials and ESD-sensitive components. Monitor work-in-process accuracy, complete required production logs, and follow ISO, safety, and job-specific procedures. Conduct basic equipment maintenance and assist maintenance technicians with troubleshooting and operational support. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting continuous quality improvement efforts and team objectives. Collaborate with supervisors and team members, including participating in quality meetings and training other employees as needed.
