Aquent is seeking an autonomous, execution-focused Senior Technical Product Manager to spearhead the lifecycle management of a critical Clinical Platform dedicated to the Medicaid segment of a major healthcare payer.

In this high-impact, individual contributor role, you will lead and coordinate cross-functional program teams from initial product discovery and design through final delivery. You will navigate complex technical environments, evaluate data variables, perform feasibility studies, and identify critical market gaps to deliver fully realized, customer-ready clinical data products. Operating with considerable latitude, you will directly influence departmental strategy, define robust technical product requirements, and shepherd the entire lifecycle using enterprise product management tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Product Ownership: Guide cross-functional project and engineering teams from design to delivery, ensuring products are stable, compliant, and optimized for clinical and customer use.
  • Problem-Solving & Strategy: Investigate architectural facts, define product requirements, and design solutions during the planning phases. Influence long-term departmental product strategies based on market trends and technical viability.
  • Platform Performance & Monitoring: Monitor product performance post-launch, recommend schedule or feature adjustments based on technical constraints, and provide accurate, milestone-based status updates to executive leadership.
  • Discovery & Requirement Definition: Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, identify product gaps, and engage deeply with customers and clinicians to translate complex market needs into actionable technical roadmaps.
  • Enterprise Tooling & Governance: Masterfully navigate and manage the product lifecycle using enterprise tracking software, specifically Azure DevOps (ADO) and Jira Align.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Technical Product Experience: 5+ years of dedicated technical experience in product management, program management, or technical system architecture.
  • Clinical Platform Literacy: Direct, hands-on experience working with Clinical Platforms, healthcare electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), clinical data pipelines, or health management software.
  • SaaS Vendor Collaboration: Proven track record working with or supporting implementations involving third-party SaaS vendors within an enterprise framework.
  • Autonomy & Decision-Making: Demonstrated capability to make complex technical decisions independently, establishing your own objectives and executing work effectively without day-to-day direction.
  • Mission-Driven Core: A genuine passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving the healthcare consumer and patient experience.

Preferred Attributes & Soft Skills

  • Elite Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between highly technical engineering teams and non-technical healthcare executives.
  • Adaptability: A proven "plug-and-play" professional who can hit the ground running, digest complex data variables quickly, and thrive in an ambiguous environment.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $52.75 to $58.62 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
