Desktop Support Technician - Job Description We are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to support large-scale hardware rollout initiatives across multiple hospital locations. This role is ideal for an IT professional with foundational desktop support experience who thrives in a hands-on, team-oriented healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities * Provide onsite desktop support across three hospital locations, focusing on hardware deployment and rollout initiatives * Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and related peripherals * Respond to and resolve hardware-related incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical and administrative operations * Manage and update service tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution * Collaborate closely with team members to support daily operations and maintain a cohesive, high-performing support environment Qualifications * 6+ months of desktop support or IT support experience in a professional environment * Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, setup, and deployment * Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users * Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work closely with colleagues in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills * Experience supporting healthcare environments or hospital systems (e.g., Epic) is a plus but not required Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, VT.
