Inside Sales Specialist

Hammond & Irving, Inc., a premier manufacturer of high-quality seamless rolled rings and open die forgings, is seeking a driven and results oriented Inside Sales Specialist to join our team in Auburn, NY. For over a century, we’ve built our reputation on precision and reliability; now, we’re looking for a professional to help us grow and strengthen customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts.
• Prepare detailed quotes and technical proposals for customers.

• Communicate with customers via telephone and email to understand and accommodate all customer requests.

• Coordinate with the quality and production teams to ensure customer specifications and deadlines are met.

• Research and establish new accounts.
• Occasional travel to visit customers.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3+ years inside sales or marketing preferred (manufacturing background a plus).
• Skills: Excellent written/verbal communication.  Math and computer proficiency required.  Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Mindset: Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Education: Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $45,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience, along with medical and dental insurance and a 401K plan once eligibility requirements are met.
