Commercial Endurance Fleet Driver, Semi

Tesla is looking for a Class A Driver to work on one of the most progressive vehicles in the world. We are seeking safe and experienced professional drivers with excellent communication skills that can handle a dynamic product development.

• Operate pre-production Class 8 vehicles on public and private roads according to specified test plans
• Support initial screening of new vehicles and installed hardware
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
• Identify and accurately communicate changes in vehicle performance or behaviors to engineering teams
• Minor Truck & Trailer service and maintenance
• Vehicle cleaning (wash and minor detailing)
• Miscellaneous jobs as required

• Valid driver's license with Class A CDL. Minimum of 3 years/300,000 miles of incident free driving.53' tractor trailer hauling experience preferred
• Experience driving in winter conditions and in accordance with local chain law restrictions
• Position subject to random drug and alcohol testing. Current DOT Physical Examination (medical card)
• Knowledge and adherence to FMCSA regulations and DOT guidelines
• Accurately maintain daily driver log book, pre-check and post-check of vehicle
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 60 pounds) and manually pallet jack heavy material on/off trucks
• Able to work OT as required; multiple shifts and work within 100 mile air radius of Tesla Reno
