The UMKC School of Dentistry is seeking a dependable, technically skilled, and customer-service-oriented professional to join our operations team as a Dental Equipment Specialist. For more than a century, the School of Dentistry has prepared the next generation of oral health professionals through excellence in education, research, and patient care. The Dental Equipment Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the daily clinical, academic, and research operations of the School of Dentistry. Reporting to a Dental Maintenance supervisor, this position is responsible for the installation, calibration, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of dental and related equipment across clinical, laboratory, research, radiology, and Central Sterilization (CSR) areas. This is a highly visible, service-focused role that regularly interacts with faculty, staff, and students to ensure equipment reliability, patient safety, and uninterrupted instructional and clinical operations. Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $23.00 - $27.00 per hour. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
