We are seeking a hands-on, highly motivated Solutions Developer to help modernize and connect our business systems and processes across the full project lifecycle - from estimating and engineering through fabrication and field installation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, building integrated solutions, and working at the intersection of technology, engineering, and construction operations. What You'll Do Drive Business Process Transformation Analyze workflows across estimating, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, project management, and field operations Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through integration, automation, and digital workflows Collaborate with business stakeholders to define technical and operational requirements Develop Integrated Solutions & Prototypes Support the design and development of connected systems and working prototypes across: CAD/BIM and engineering integrations Material takeoff workflows Procurement and supply chain coordination Inventory and material tracking Fabrication and production workflows Project management and field operations Participate in iterative development, testing, and refinement cycles Support Technical Development & Integration Assist with system integrations using APIs, middleware, and data pipelines Contribute to structured data models and operational datasets Help develop custom applications, tools, or workflow enhancements where needed Collaborate Across Teams Partner closely with operations, engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions Coordinate with internal and external technical resources to support delivery Test, Improve & Scale Participate in testing and validation of systems and workflows Measure process improvements and operational impact Document findings and contribute to long-term system architecture and roadmap planning What You Bring We're looking for a curious, proactive problem solver who enjoys building systems and improving how work gets done. Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in: software or systems development, technical integration roles, or engineering/operations environments with strong systems exposure Preferred Experience API integrations, middleware, or data pipelines SQL or structured data environments Application development using Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies CAD/BIM platforms such as AutoCAD or Revit ERP, operational, manufacturing, or construction systems Experience connecting workflows across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and field operations What Will Set You Apart Systems thinking and process-minded problem solving Strong technical curiosity and learning agility Ability to move between operational and technical conversations Hands-on mindset with a bias toward execution Collaborative approach across business and technical teams Why Join Harmon & Apogee This role offers the opportunity to help shape the future of a rapidly growing organization by building integrated systems that directly improve how we design, manufacture, and deliver projects across North America.
