Position Summary

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives, managing competitive bid processes, negotiating supplier agreements, and developing strong vendor partnerships that deliver value, quality, and service excellence. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to identify business needs, develop sourcing strategies, and support organizational objectives through effective procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including development and execution of RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs

* Analyze supplier pricing, cost models, and total cost of ownership to identify savings opportunities

* Evaluate supplier proposals and develop sourcing recommendations

* Support and lead supplier negotiations related to pricing, terms, and service agreements

* Draft agreements based on business requirements and supplier proposals

* Collaborate with Legal and business stakeholders throughout the contracting process

* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while driving performance improvements

* Partner with internal departments to understand requirements and develop sourcing strategies

* Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and best practices

* Assist with supplier onboarding and vendor management activities

* Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain functions

* Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

* Minimum 3 years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or buying experience

* Experience developing and managing RFPs, RFQs, and supplier evaluation processes

* Demonstrated success negotiating pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements

* Strong financial analysis, cost modeling, and analytical skills

* Experience working with ERP or procurement systems; SAP experience preferred

* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

* Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management abilities

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines

* Self-motivated professional capable of working independently and collaboratively
