Get to Know Your Team:

  • Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (TSSH) specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management. TSSH offers state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology. TSSH offers a variety of services, such as anesthesia, ear, nose & throat, general surgery, GYN, GYN/oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, radiology and spine care.
  • Under the direction ofDirector, Radiology, performs diagnostic tests, patient care, and selects appropriate technical factors to insure proper diagnosis of patients.
  • This individual must be able to operate M.R.I. equipment with competence as well as all diagnostic radiographic equipment.
  • This individual must maintain appropriate exposure levels according to ALARA standards and SAR limits according to manufacturer set limits.
  • This individual must maintain registry status as set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.).
  • This individual must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age of patients served.
  • This individual will perform technical and clerical duties as delegated by Director, Radiology.

Job Requirements:

  • One year of X-Ray experience required
  • ARRT (MR) Registry required within 12 months after orientation.
  • Associates degree from an accredited Radiology Program.
  • ARRT(R)Registered required.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • ARRT (MR)Registry or Registry eligible preferred
  • One year MRIexperience preferred
  • CT experience preferred
