Adjunct Lecturer, Writing

The Arts and Humanities Division at Babson College has openings for an Adjunct Instructor of Writing for the Spring 2026 semester. The Colleges Writing Program consists of a two-course sequence emphasizing writing across contexts. The instructor will teach up to three sections of either Writing Across Contexts (WRT1001) or Research Writing (WRT2000).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Teach writing courses in our undergraduate program.

Take advantage of teaching development through our Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning (CELT) and coaching from colleagues.

Assume additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

A masters degree and experience teaching college-level first-year composition are required.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

This position requires the ability to teach courses in-person, on-campus.

The rate for this position in the Arts & Humanities Division is $7437 per course equivalency (CE).
