Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $17.50/hour + OT after 40 hours

Shift: 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Position Overview

Seeking dependable Machine Operators with strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience. This position supports press operations and production activities, including loading materials, monitoring machine performance, performing minor machine adjustments, and ensuring production goals and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, comfortable working in a production environment, and able to adapt to overtime and shift changes when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production press equipment.
• Load, unload, and feed materials into dies and machines.
• Inspect parts for quality and identify defects.
• Verify parts using catalog numbers and production documentation.
• Make minor machine adjustments as needed.
• Accurately complete production reports and time sheets.
• Meet daily production and quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors or setup technicians.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork and production reports.
• Ability to work overtime and adjust shifts with limited notice.
• Strong attendance and performance record.
• Ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing 25 lbs. or more.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operator, press operator, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with production machinery.
• Quality inspection experience.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and production metrics.
