Location: Stafford, TX (3950 Greenbriar Drive)

Type: Contingent / Full-Time Temporary (9 months)

Start Date: 6/12/2026

Schedule: 1st Shift - 5:30/6:00 AM to 2:30/3:00 PM

Hours: 40/week + Saturday OT expected

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr (OT after 40 hours)

Bill Rate: $26.13/hr

Submission Limits: 3 candidates per supplier

Position Overview

This is a hands-on Continuous Improvement Technician role supporting daily process improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor. The position is highly task-oriented and physical, focused on improving workplace organization, visual management, and overall efficiency through direct support of plant operations.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with tools, while contributing to ongoing continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain signage, visual boards, and training displays
• Conduct weekly 5S+1 audits across various departments
• Support implementation of process improvements (organization, layout adjustments, light maintenance tasks)
• Assist with material movement and workplace setup adjustments
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, efficient, and organized production environment

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• General handywork, maintenance, or mechanical background
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Prior exposure to manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments
• Forklift certification (or willingness to be trained on-site)

Work Environment & Expectations

• Fully onsite role (no remote work)
• Requires physical activity, including moving materials and equipment
• Fast-paced production environment with shifting priorities
• Candidates must be open to early start times and weekend overtime

• Background Check (SSN trace, county/federal criminal, national registry)
• 4-Panel Drug Screen (Amphetamines, Cocaine, Opiates, PCP)
• NDA and standard onboarding documentation
