Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



  • Master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field with specialty or concentration in counseling


  • Actively working towards a Professional License (i.e., LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist),


OR


Actively working towards a credential through PCB (i.e., CAAC, CADC, CAADC, CCS), or be actively working toward licensure or certification. **Licensure or certification will need to be achieved within two to three (2 - 3) years of hire, depending on requirements.




  • Hires after 7/1/2021 - employees must complete and maintain certification and/or license required by regulations and offered by Merakey within the required timeline. Failure to successfully complete and maintain license and/or certification and associated continuing education requirements will prevent you from being able to fulfill this role.

We are seeking a Master's-level Therapist to join our team at Riverview Wellness Village in Philadelphia.

This role provides individual and group therapy to individuals with substance use disorders, using strong clinical skills to assess needs, support engagement, and promote recovery. The therapist will manage a caseload, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards while delivering compassionate, client-centered care.


Clinical Skills & Therapeutic Delivery



  • Conduct effective individual and group therapy using strong clinical judgment
  • Assess client needs and stage of change to recommend appropriate services
  • Engage resistant individuals using rapport, empathy, and evidence-based techniques


Case Management & Client Care



  • Manage caseload, track progress, and re-engage individuals as needed
  • Coordinate care and connect clients to community resources


Documentation & Compliance



  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Ensure charts, incident reports, and records are complete and up to date
  • Adhere to all policies, confidentiality, and ethical guidelines


Communication & Teamwork



  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams


Performance & Professional Development



  • Meet productivity expectations
  • Participate in supervision, training, and quality improvement activities


General Responsibilities



  • Perform other duties as assigned


Earn $26.67 per hour.
