**What You'll Do:**

* Lead and execute medium-sized projects from inception to completion with minimal oversight.

* Collaborate with multiple teams, sharing expertise to build innovative solutions and tools for system configuration, maintenance, and scaling.

* Develop initial project designs for your team and contribute significantly to larger architectural designs, actively participating in their execution.

* Proactively identify and resolve issues within extensive service areas, planning and implementing effective solutions, and managing escalated incidents.

* Uphold and elevate standards for production excellence, actively contributing to the definition of improved operational guidelines.

* Champion and integrate best practices and modern reliability engineering approaches into system design and management.

* Establish or enhance testing, monitoring, and other infrastructure components to guarantee long-term system scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

* Contribute to and maintain comprehensive documentation and educational resources.

* Efficiently triage, debug, track, and resolve system issues by analyzing root causes and their impact on operational quality, contributing to both remediation and preventative measures.

* Develop and refine code for tools, libraries, and systems, focusing on reliability, resilience, scalability, and the reduction of manual effort.

* Design and implement interfaces between system components, potentially spanning different teams or service boundaries.

* Optimize code through thoughtful algorithm selection and abstraction, ensuring maintainability and efficiency.

* Conduct thorough code reviews for peers, providing constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices.

* Design and execute tests for non-standard scenarios to validate resilience and comprehensive coverage of critical components.

* Review technical designs within the team, prioritizing reliability, efficiency, simplicity, and maintainability.

* Formulate and defend solutions to complex problems, considering various approaches and responding to reliability-related incidents.

**Required Qualifications:**

* Proficiency in ML Serving, including the infrastructure and processes necessary to host, scale, and operate Machine Learning models in a production environment.
