Summary
The Enterprise Development team is responsible for delivering on project and support needs managed by Information Technology Solutions which comprise of strategic and institutional priorities. The team designs, builds, and maintains the software that supports the MCW mission, including Java-based applications and services, inbound and outbound integrations, application extensions, customizations, and custom developed solutions that extend enterprise platforms. This software ecosystem is critical to MCW's mission operations and the development team is essential to managing and maintaining this complex environment. Under direct supervision, the Enterprise Applications Engineer I is a developing Java developer building foundational skills. This position assists in developing and implementing business solutions through the full software life cycle process. With guidance from senior team members, these resources contribute to the design, development, testing, integration, deployment and support of enterprise software applications. This position is 100% remote. All remote work must be performed within one of the MCW registered payroll states, which currently includes: WI, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN, TX, and UT Primary Responsibilities

Qualifications
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis. Please submit a resume and cover letter. Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree Minimum Required Experience: 1+ years of application development experience with an emphasis on Java development, or equivalent academic or internship experience. Exposure to developing, enhancing, or supporting Java-based applications. Familiarity with integrations between internal/external systems using APIs, middleware or file based interfaces is preferred Physical Requirements
Work requires occasionally lifting or retrieving moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously. Work Environment
Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment. Sensory Acuity Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required.
