JOB SUMMARY: The incumbent is responsible for the entry and maintenance of healthcare provider information both in hard copy documents and on the eProvider database.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Input new data for professional, ancillary, facility and group type providers added to company's government networks through new or existing contracts. 2.Maintain changes to current provider records, including provider terminations. 3.Obtain missing data elements and update provider records. 4.Research and respond to ad hoc requests (status checks) from both internal and external customers including updating provider records according to operational guidelines. 5.Complete special projects as assigned by department manager/team leader which includes both telephonic and electronic investigative work. 6.Demonstrate commitment to MultiPlan core values. 7.Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments. 8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. 9.The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. JOB SCOPE: The Provider Data Administrator I is held accountable for the timely and accurate completion of tasks and duties relating to healthcare provider data. The incumbent must help provide a professional and team-building environment while working independently. The incumbent relies on knowledge gained through experience to complete varied tasks and job responsibilities. The incumbent passes on more complex tasks to higher levels. | |
