Job Description




As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Pleasant Prairie, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Our unarmed driving patrol officers support a dynamic commercial real estate location through routine patrols, visible presence, and responsive assistance that helps to deter security-related incidents. This role blends customer service and communication with mobile patrol responsibilities, offering the chance to work with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a people-first culture at Allied Universal.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Minimum 1 year or more of Security experience required

Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with badge and/or credential checks when required, and help to support site access protocols.
  • Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related issues, maintenance concerns observed during patrols, and other site conditions that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
