Our professional faculty engage tomorrow's physical therapist assistants with intimate class sizes, up-to-date labs and simulation environments, and real-life clinical rotations. At Herzing we put our students' needs first, which means that you will have a hands-on role with students.

Overview:

This role is onsite at the Orlando, FL Campus. Instruction areas include Pathology, Basic Patient Care, Therapeutic Exercise, and Orthopedics. This role requires 24 - 28 hours a week of classroom teaching, leading labs, assisting in other instructor's labs, grading, advising, and minimal curriculum design duties. Hours worked will generally be Monday - Thursday, daytime hours.

Requirements:



  • Current Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant licensure for the state of Florida
  • Bachelors degree or higher


Preferred:



  • 3 years of physical therapy practice with emphasis in orthopedics.
  • Teaching experience such as clinical instructing, providing in-services, or instruction in college settings

Compensation will be $50 per hour.
