Pay Rate: $22.09 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors, staff, and/or contractors entering the location by following established screening guidelines, checking identification, and reporting irregularities to site leadership.
• Monitor entry points and assist with controlling access to restricted areas to help support security-related operations and compliance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and/or actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and perimeter locations as assigned, noting conditions that may require follow-up or additional support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
