What you will accomplish as a Product Coordinator, Parking Solutions at TAPCO:

The Product Coordinator, Parking Solutions serves as the primary coordinator and subject matter expert for TAPCO's Parking Logix portfolio. This role works closely with sales, marketing, engineering, operations, customer support, and external technology partners to gather product requirements, maintain product information, support go-to-market activities, and drive cross-functional initiatives. The Product Coordinator will facilitate communication between stakeholders, identify market and customer needs, support product improvement initiatives, and ensure sales teams have the tools, training, and resources needed to successfully position and sell parking solutions. This role does not directly manage product development resources but is responsible for helping move key initiatives forward through collaboration and organizational influence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize product information, specifications, pricing, and sales resources for the parking portfolio.
  • Support efforts to create a unified product catalog and centralized repository of product documentation.
  • Coordinate periodic reviews of pricing, quoting structures, and service offerings to improve customer understanding and competitive positioning.
  • Ensure product availability, geographic sales limitations, and product requirements are clearly documented and communicated
  • Maintain customer-facing documentation for parking software and hardware products including product data sheets, implementation guides, comparison documents, and procurement support materials.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure documentation remains current and accurate.
  • Support initiatives that help simplify customer evaluation, approval, and procurement processes.
  • Gather product requirements, customer feedback, and market insights from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support evaluation of new technologies, products, and strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities related to product enhancements, new product introductions, and competitive positioning.
  • Assist with market analysis and business case development for future product opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary product resource for the sales organization.
  • Develop and deliver product training for new hires and existing sales team members.
  • Create and maintain sales tools, competitive comparison materials, and product positioning guides.
  • Support strategic customer opportunities by providing product expertise and recommendations.
  • Partner with marketing to develop product collateral, website content, presentations, case studies, and campaign materials.
  • Support product launches and market introduction activities.
  • Help define product messaging and value propositions across the parking portfolio.
  • Coordinate internal communications related to product updates and enhancements.
  • Research competitors, product offerings, pricing, and market trends to identify opportunities and competitive gaps.
  • Create competitive comparison tools and market insights to support sales, product planning, and strategic decisions.
  • Monitor customer feedback, warranty trends, product performance, and competitive developments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional discussions regarding product quality, reliability, and customer experience improvements.
  • Track and communicate issues, opportunities, and action items across internal teams.
  • Support long-term planning efforts related to product enhancements, technology changes, and end-of-life considerations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, sales enablement, technical marketing, project management, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating product documentation, training materials, or customer-facing content.

Preferred:

  • Experience in parking technology, transportation, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), smart city technology, SaaS, or connected devices.
  • Experience supporting public sector, municipal, DOT, or higher education customers.
  • Familiarity with pricing, quoting systems, and product lifecycle processes.
  • Experience working with both hardware and software products.
