Field Service Representative (FSR) At General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) we put our Customers at the center of everything we do. We are seeking one FSR for Ft. Campbell, KY and one FSR for Ft. Bliss, TX. These are funded fully TDY. Operations housed out of JBLM, WA but this is a fully TDY position. This position is pending funding. To be eligible, must have went through Stryker FSR Academy. Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and interface with customer representatives at the brigade and battalion command levels as well as senior program manager office representatives.
- Monitor and maintain configuration management for Stryker variant of vehicles.
- Set priority of efforts for Stryker platforms in unscheduled maintenance, scheduled maintenance and repair parts processing.
- Conduct hands on training or sustainment training program for General Dynamics Land Systems mechanics and United States Army Mechanics, Operators or Leaders.
- Oversee and assist with preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on all Stryker variants to include sub-components and LRUs pertaining to the Stryker Platforms.
- Oversee, troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in automotive systems (full up power pack FUPP (engine, transmission, cooling), fuel, exhaust, driveline and suspension ) using built in test equipment (BITE), test equipment and/or manual troubleshooting procedures (MTPs), common and special tools and applicable technical documentation.
- Complete maintenance administrative forms and other paperwork (reports) related to performance of duties.
- Provide property accountability for all assigned property and assistance for property accountability where needed.
- Provide assistance and mentorship to welding procedures based on company guidelines.
- Perform all duties in accordance with ISO processes.
- Ability to utilize download equipment to transfer and read data to manage software configuration.
- Perform duties as site Field Representative; Environmental, Hazmat, Safety, Fire prevention and administrative functions.
- Must be able to gain and maintain access to all military installations in which the work is performed.
Position Requirements:
- Must be certified graduate of the Stryker FSR Academy
- Must have High School Diploma and/or GED
- Read and interpret troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures and flow diagrams for systems, subsystems and components.
- Travel to remote CONUS/OCONUS locations on short notice to support contingency operations.
- Work in improved and unimproved maintenance facilities, as well as other field environment and work duty locations as required.
- Occasional work in confined space within vehicle interior.
- Potential for exposure to temperature extremes in performance of duties.
- Physical requirements: Must pass and maintain company deployment requirements.
- Must meet and maintain ASR guidelines for driver's station entry as described in Standard Practice 2-644.
- Dexterity in fingers of both hand
- Carry 70lbs (tool box or parts) up to 50'.
- Multicultural work experience preferred.
- Administrative and office skills required (Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point).
(May be required to demonstrate abilities). - Must be able to obtain and maintain successful NACI background for CAC (Common Access Card).
- Must be a U.S. person.
- Must be able to gain and maintain access to all military installations in which the work is performed.
Position Salary Range: New hires generally start between $79,500 and $85,000 per year. Applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications and professional experience. The full salary range for the position is between $68,100 and $102,300 per year.
Position Incentive: Hired applicant will be able to receive an annual bonus.
