Position Summary

The primary function of this position is to hand roll food products, apply specific wrap configurations, and hand pack packaged or frozen food products into cases according to established packaging requirements, while ensuring all GMPs and quality standards are met and maintaining an efficient flow of product through production. In addition, this position may include tasks related to material handling.

Job Functions:

• Receive conveyed food product and hand wrap and fill tortillas (52 to 60 per minute) according to specific wrap configuration.
• Obtain and wrap frozen individual food products (burritos, enchiladas, tacos, and flautas) from the carousel and pack them into the master case cases or inner carton according to specific packaging configurations as required.
• Rotate with the tortilla placer as required.
• Assemble inner cartons, pack wrapped food products into cartons, pack wrapped food products into cartons, and seal cartons as required.
• Obtain assembled boxes and place them in the worktable.
• Palletize finished cases on pallets as required.
• Attend required training session, including quality control, human resources and safety, as assigned.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company standards for the job.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Must be able to understand and follow all written SSOP's.
• Must be able to understand MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
