The Opportunity Cornell Information Technologies (CIT) is seeking an IT Field Services Technician II to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of Cornell's wired, wireless, and voice network infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career network or telecommunications professional who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and working across a dynamic university environment. You'll work alongside experienced network engineers and technicians while helping to maintain the critical infrastructure that supports teaching, research, and administrative operations across campus. Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver's License. Out-of-state employees must obtain and show proof of a NYS license within 30 days of starting employment. Following a comprehensive three-month onboarding and training period, this position participates in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule throughout the year.
