Astrion has acontingent opening for a Systems Administrator (Windows) supportingthe U.S. Navy'sNaval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), located inDahlgren, VA. Astrion is seekinga skilled and detail-oriented Windows Systems Administrator to manage,maintain, and secureNSWCDD'enterprise networks and software systems. In this role, you will perform full-lifecycle administration, including hardware/software installation, configuration, and performance tuning across diverse operating environments. You will also support network security operations, analyze vulnerabilities, develop system specifications, andassistwith procurement-related market research to ensure our infrastructure meets federal andDepartment of Warguidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Three (3) years of professional experience in relation to Windows system administration of networks and software systems
• Experience in system backup/recovery, basic software management, security and library management, installation and configuration of hardware, operating systems and COTS software, operating computer systems in different operating environments, sizing, performance, tuning, hardware/software /network trouble shooting and resourceallocation
• Experienceinmaintaining proficiencyinmajornetworksecuritytoolssuch as firewalls
• Experience developing system specifications and performing market research procurement tasks
• Qualified experience with different network protocols including TCP/IP
• Qualified experience of computing and networkingvulnerabilitiesandthelatest detectmethods
• This positionis required tobe designated as IAT II level with a T5investigation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
• CompTIA Security+, CompTIACySA+, or CCNA
