Inside the Role

The Procurement and Supply New Product Projects (NPP) team is responsible for coordinating and executing new product projects into DTNA's truck manufacturing plants and supply chain network.

This role is responsible for understanding technical changes and new product offerings driven by DTNA Engineering and Product Strategy and translating them into aligned sourcing strategies through the established Sourcing Road Map process. Acting as a NPP project manager within Procurement and Supply, the role drives cross functional alignment and ensures launch activities are clearly defined, communicated, and executed in coordination with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and the supply base.

The position drives visibility and accountability for new part demand, project milestones, and cost targets, while coordinating production tooling readiness and quality process alignment. Through disciplined project execution and stakeholder engagement, the role enables successful new product launches and helps deliver best in class cost and quality outcomes for DTNA customers.

Position offers a starting salary range of $86,000- $110,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA

This role drives procurementled execution and crossfunctional alignment for new product projects, ensuring supplier readiness, launch timing, cost targets, and quality expectations are achieved.

  • Lead procurement and supply execution for assigned new product projects, from sourcing alignment through product launch.

  • Translate engineering and product strategy changes into executable sourcing and supply chain actions aligned to the Sourcing Road Map.

  • Develop and manage endtoend project implementation plans in accordance with the CVDS / Lighthouse process.

  • Drive crossfunctional alignment and governance across Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Quality, and the supply base to ensure launch readiness.

  • Establish and maintain visibility to new part demand, project milestones, cost targets, and launch risks; proactively drive issue resolution and escalation as needed.

  • Ensure supplier and supply chain readiness, including tooling maturity, capacity, timing, and ontime part availability.

  • Prepare clear, datadriven project status and launch readiness materials to support steering reviews with Procurement and Supply leadership.

  • Analyze launch performance, supplier issues, and schedule impacts; lead rootcause analysis and drive corrective actions to support continuous improvement.

  • Coordinate implementation timing considering tooling, material availability, obsolescence, service, and quality requirements.

  • Review and interpret engineering documentation to ensure accurate implementation of design changes into the supply chain and manufacturing environment.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelors degree with focus in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Manufacturing Engineering

  • 1-2 year Project Management Experience in supply chain or manufacturing environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
