What to Expect As aSupply ChainOperations Manageryou will be responsible for the containment of any Part Quality level issue coming from suppliers at the Fremont factory, 901 Page and Livermore warehouse, securing the correct inspection method is followed as well as maintaining control of theNon-conformantmaterial associated to Supplier caused issues. What You'll Do Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence Warehouse Operations:Supervise warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping in compliance with safety and quality standards Process Improvement:Identifybottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce waste Metrics & Reporting:Track and report key quality KPIs (incoming defect rates, PPM,DOH,closure rates) to management; conduct trend analysis to drive improvement Team Leadership:Hire, train, and develop a team of quality inspectors and technicians; set performance goals and foster a culture of quality excellence Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role Deep knowledge of incoming inspection methodologies, AQL sampling standards, and MRB processes as well as PPAP, APQP, and MSA processes (preferred) Hands-on experience with quality management systems (QMS) and ERP platforms Proficiency in structured problem-solving tools (8D, FMEA, Control Plans, 5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa) Solid understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or equivalent Excellent written and verbal communication skills for supplier and cross-functional interactions What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role Deep knowledge of incoming inspection methodologies, AQL sampling standards, and MRB processes as well as PPAP, APQP, and MSA processes (preferred) Hands-on experience with quality management systems (QMS) and ERP platforms Proficiency in structured problem-solving tools (8D, FMEA, Control Plans, 5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa) Solid understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or equivalent Excellent written and verbal communication skills for supplier and cross-functional interactions Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $84,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
