Growing publication company is looking for a Bilingual Sales Associate to respond to customer requests and order inquiries in all forms. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate customer and order records as well as executing outreach calling and e-mail campaigns to increase sales, as needed. , this might be the career for you!

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-4pm 37.5 hours/week

Duration: Looking to get someone started quickly and would be thru the end of December

Pay: $18/hr.-$20/hr. depending on experience

Day in the Life:



  • To enter orders and credits (products and subscriptions) received via phone, fax, mail and e-mail for domestic and foreign customers of all types, ensuring timely entry and fulfillment.
  • To respond to customer and staff inquiries, taking action to address problems in a manner which will assist in avoiding future problems of a similar type.
  • To identify and perform outreach campaigns to increase sales.
  • To support registration activity for virtual workshops and in-person training events.
  • To train & mentor staff to maintain highest performance standards possible for the department, including temporary employees for busy season.
  • To communicate with customers in a professional way, written and oral, and to respond to inquiries and problems in as timely a manner as possible.
  • To inform Marketing of any inconsistencies related to pricing or information between data entry system and marketing campaigns, and to proofread promotional copy as assigned.
  • To liaison with warehouse personnel for shipping quotes and other information.
  • To initiate tracers, handle claims and facilitate resolution of problems for all customers when required and/or assigned.
  • To keep accurate records based on department standards, assist with department responsibilities related to data hygiene, and to overall maintain processes related to all customer inquiries and needs.
  • To become familiar with products and trade and worship office customer needs in order to make informed recommendations and sales.


Keys to Success:



  • 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in customer service/order entry.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Strong, decision-making skills with ability to negotiate resolution to problems and provide complete customer satisfaction.
  • Computer efficiency and understanding of multiple applications including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and database software.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and possess good time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma required; college courses/degree a plus.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Fluency in English required, Spanish language skills a plus.
  • Must demonstrate understanding, respect, and support for Catholic Church teaching, mission and values.


The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
