- You will follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; perform LOTO, permit-to-work activities, and report safety incidents and near misses.
- Commission, startup, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot process analyzers, analytical systems, gas purification systems, and associated equipment.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on analytical, instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Further, you will install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems, including analyzers, control valves, actuators, transmitters, PLCs, DCSs, and legacy control systems.
- Maintain QA documentation, calibration records, cylinder inventories, and technical documentation, including P&IDs, electrical schematics, SOPs, and MOC records.
- Perform testing, validation, and compliance activities, including FDA-QA and Safety Instrumented System (SIS) functional testing.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul rotating and process equipment, including compressors, pumps, motors, turbines, gearboxes, heat exchangers, vaporizers, piping systems, valves, and related equipment.
- And you will maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems up to 600V, including motors, UPS systems, generators, transformers, breakers, and switchgear.
- Support reliability and asset performance programs by identifying recurring equipment issues, implementing corrective actions, and optimizing preventive maintenance strategies.
- Assist with turnaround planning, cost estimation, major maintenance projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, reliability teams, customers, contractors, and vendors to ensure safe and reliable facility performance.
- Provide on-call support as required and travel to customer or plant sites to support operations, maintenance, and turnaround activities.
What makes you great
- You have a strong understanding of industrial control, instrumentation, and electrical systems, including troubleshooting 4-20mA transmitters, electro-pneumatic control loops, solenoid valves, actuators, regulators, and PID controllers.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent combination of technical education, training, and work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting UHP production systems, instrumentation and controls, gas purity analysis, technical documentation, engineering procedures, and customer-facing operations.
- You have working knowledge of applicable industrial codes, standards, and regulatory requirements; ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and man lifts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications, along with working knowledge of HMIs, CAD software, and control logic editing. Ability to read, interpret, and modify P&IDs and electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices for industrial mechanical and rotating equipment.
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing compressors, turbines, blowers, heat exchangers, and other industrial rotating equipment.
