What you will enjoy doing*
- You will develop, implement, and maintain the Mechanical Integrity (MI) program to ensure the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of pressure vessels, pipelines, storage tanks, heat exchangers, and related equipment.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee equipment inspections, including NDT, visual inspections, pressure testing, and thickness measurements, ensuring compliance with inspection schedules and applicable API, ASME, OSHA, and company standards.
- Analyze inspection and asset integrity data to evaluate corrosion, material degradation, wear rates, remaining life, and equipment performance; identify trends, risks, and opportunities for reliability improvements.
- Further you will maintain comprehensive mechanical integrity documentation, including inspection records, repair histories, certifications, asset assessments, and CMMS data to support audits, regulatory compliance, and operational decision-making.
- Partner with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to plan and execute repairs, modifications, upgrades, and replacement strategies that improve equipment reliability, availability, and service life.
- Recommend and validate repair methods, material selections, and engineering solutions while monitoring repair quality and ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
- And you will prepare technical reports and integrity assessments on equipment condition, performance, risks, and asset management activities for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies, auditors, and third-party inspectors to support inspections, certifications, and compliance reviews.
- Provide technical leadership, training, and guidance on mechanical integrity programs, inspection methodologies, reliability practices, and industry best practices.
- And you will lead or support incident investigations, failure analyses, and root cause assessments; develop corrective and preventive actions to strengthen asset reliability and process safety.
- Drive continuous improvement through condition monitoring, predictive maintenance technologies, emerging industry practices, and cost-effective solutions that enhance safety, compliance, and operational performance.
What makes you great
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical integrity, asset integrity, inspection, reliability, or related engineering roles within an industrial environment.
- API certification required/preferred (API 510, API 570, and/or API 653).
- Strong knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards, including ASME, ANSI, API, and OSHA requirements.
- You have experience with non-destructive examination (NDE/NDT) methods and techniques supporting mechanical integrity programs.
- Project management experience, including PMP certification or demonstrated success leading capital, maintenance, or integrity-related projects.
- Proven ability to evaluate equipment condition, corrosion mechanisms, fitness-for-service, and risk-based inspection programs.
