What this job involves:

As a Construction Project Manager specializing in office building and financial centre construction at JLL, you'll lead transformative projects that redefine how space serves business. You'll own the complete lifecycle-from initial concept and budgeting through strategic execution and final delivery. Your deep construction expertise will drive innovative solutions that balance competing priorities while keeping the client experience at the forefront. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for office building and financial centre construction initiatives, ensuring alignment with client objectives and organizational standards

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans while proactively identifying and mitigating risks

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to maintain project momentum and quality

  • Serve as the primary client point of contact, building trusted relationships and providing innovative solutions to conflicting priorities

  • Oversee contract negotiations, procurement processes, and vendor management to optimize project outcomes

  • Monitor construction progress through regular site visits, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Facilitate strategic decision-making by analysing project data, preparing detailed reports, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders

  • Champion best practices and cultural initiatives that strengthen team performance and drive continuous improvement

  • Leverage emerging technologies and project management tools to enhance efficiency and deliver measurable value

Required qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in project management or construction management with demonstrated success leading complex projects (e.g., retail financial centres, office workspaces)

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or a combination of relevant work experience, education, or equivalent

  • Strong working knowledge of project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations

  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced, high-volume environments while meeting critical deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels and with external clients

  • Proficiency in project management technology tools and platforms (e.g., Clarion, Microsoft Project, MS Office suite)

  • Demonstrated track record of acting decisively, thinking strategically, and delivering measurable results

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to navigate conflicting priorities with innovative solutions

Preferred qualifications:

  • Direct experience managing office building and financial centre construction projects from inception through completion

  • Professional certification such as PMP, CCM, LEED AP, or equivalent industry credential

  • Experience implementing new technologies or digital tools to improve project delivery and client outcomes
