Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and sensitive areas, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and assist with directional support for visitors, travelers, and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
