Your role, Your impact

  • Lead supplier quality development activities for fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) and related commodities.
  • Collaborate with industrial and design teams to ensure robust quality standards at industrial sites.
  • Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Travel 40-60% of the time to supplier sites, ensuring on-site quality and compliance.
  • Support pre-screening and interview processes by identifying key technical and process requirements.



You'll work with sharp, committed teams across engineering, operations, and design - solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility. As Supplier Quality Development Manager, you will be the bridge between suppliers and Alstom's engineering excellence.


What you bring

  • Degree in materials, mechanical, industrial engineering, with strong knowledge of FRP (fiber reinforced plastics) processes.
  • 5-10 years of experience in supplier quality, materials, or mechanical engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experiencein metrology, quality inspection, GD&T, 3D CAD (CATIA/NX/Creo/SolidWorks), PFMEA, Control Plans, FAI, MSA, GR&R, SPC, and FRP composite inspection/process methodologies.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, drive issues from start to finish, and demonstrate self-accountability.
  • Strong team collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel 40-60% of the time to supplier sites (North America).

Base Salary Range

In accordance with New York State law, the anticipated salary range for this position is$80,000 - $110,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, and qualifications. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation.
