Manufacturing Engineer Location: Houston, TX Pay Rate: $70-75,000 Drive Process Improvement in a High-Performance Manufacturing Environment Are you a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys solving production challenges, improving efficiency, and making a measurable impact? We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations through process optimization, root-cause analysis, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement projects. What You'll Do Analyze production issues, equipment downtime, scrap, and defects to identify solutions. Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC methodologies. Support quality systems, corrective actions, and process improvements. Monitor manufacturing performance metrics, including yield, scrap, and throughput. Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, FMEAs, control plans, and engineering documentation. Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to improve productivity and product quality. Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, equipment, and production constraints. Support audits, process validations, and compliance with industry standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of manufacturing, process, production, or continuous improvement experience. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and quality systems. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Experience with Excel, ERP systems, and manufacturing data analysis.
