Mobility Engineer Duration: 18-Month Contract Location: Irving, TX Overview We are seeking an experienced Mobility Engineer to join its Mobility Operations team. This team is responsible for supporting enterprise mobility services and mobile technology initiatives for employees globally. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting mobile devices in large-scale enterprise environments, with a particular focus on Mobile Device Management (MDM), mobile infrastructure operations, and end-user support for iOS and Android platforms. This role requires a highly collaborative professional who can troubleshoot complex mobility issues, analyze device and infrastructure logs, work with vendors and internal technology teams, and ensure a seamless mobile experience for users across the organization. Key Responsibilities * Provide operational support for enterprise mobile device management platforms and mobility infrastructure. * Support and troubleshoot mobile devices, applications, and services across iOS and Android environments. * Investigate and resolve issues impacting mobile devices from both the device and backend infrastructure perspectives. * Analyze system and device logs to identify root causes and implement remediation strategies. * Partner with vendors and internal technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex mobility-related issues. * Assist end users with application downloads, activations, device enrollment, and mobility best practices. * Support the setup, provisioning, staging, and lifecycle management of mobile devices and accounts. * Assist with mobile application deployments and support across various lines of business. * Conduct reporting, surveys, and operational analysis related to mobility services. * Collaborate with Networking, Infrastructure, Server, GIS, and other technical teams during troubleshooting efforts and outage investigations. * Participate in operational support activities within a large-scale production environment. Required Qualifications * 5+ years of experience supporting technology in a large-scale production operations environment. * Experience supporting enterprise mobility technologies in a global environment. * Strong experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and infrastructure operations supporting mobile devices. * Deep understanding of iOS and Android operating systems and how they are managed in an enterprise environment. * Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and their impact on mobile device functionality. * Experience troubleshooting mobile devices, applications, and backend infrastructure components. * Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment utilizing tools such as Microsoft Teams and WebEx. * Strong client-facing support skills with a customer-first mindset. * Experience analyzing logs and technical data to diagnose and resolve issues. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working with enterprise mobility management solutions. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. * Experience working within complex, global team structures. * Proven ability to collaborate across diverse technical teams and stakeholders. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven approach. * Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable professional with strong follow-through.
