Join Our Critical Care Response Team as the Lead RN at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Hospital Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center stands as a distinguished institution, encompassing a 420-bed teaching hospital. The Critical Care Response Team is a newly established hospital-wide unit designed to provide rapid, expert clinical support for patients experiencing acute deterioration outside of the intensive care unit. Weekly Working Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 12-hour rotating days and night shift Summary: The Lead Clinical Nurse for the Critical Care Response Team provides day-to-day clinical and operational leadership for a dedicated hospital-based critical care response nursing model. This role supports the development, implementation, and daily reliability of the Critical Care Response Team through direct clinical response, early identification of patient deterioration, staff support, education, quality review, and operational coordination. The position serves as a clinical expert, mentor, and operational partner to frontline nurses, providers, respiratory therapy, and nursing leadership. The Lead Clinical Nurse helps ensure timely and reliable response to rapid responses, code events, and other clinical emergencies while supporting proactive surveillance, continuous improvement, and a culture of safety for patients and care teams. Salary Range: Minimum 47.96/hour - Maximum 74.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
