Our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute seek to hire a full-time clinical faculty and Hospital Epidemiology position (Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor) for our Duarte, California Campus.   • Join a dynamic group of 6 infectious diseases specialists and 1 APP

  • The majority of your time will be dedicated to Hospital Epidemiology, as the lead Hospital Medical Epidemiologist with your remaining time divided between inpatient and outpatient clinical service

  • The hospital is located on campus - Work out of one location

  • Graduating Fellows with significant exposure to transplant infectious disease during training strongly encouraged to apply!

DUTIES

  • Clinical time is divided between inpatient and outpatient services

  • Contributions to Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infection Control efforts at Duarte

  • Opportunities for clinical research

Position Benefits:

  • Excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement contribution plan

  • Relocation assistance may be available

  • Base salary range: $210k - $256k *The salary range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

Qualifications

  • Active or eligible for California medical license

  • ABIM board certification in Infectious Disease

  • Strong communication skills

  • Experienced in leading policy and protocol development and implementation for hospital epidemiology and infection prevention and control with a special focus on cancer patients

  • Experience in transplant infectious disease - program that is heavily focused toward immunocompromised host infections (hematologic malignancy/ HCT)

  • 1-2 years working within hematologic malignancies *preferred but not required
