Current COTA certification is required for this position. Located in the heart of the Southtowns, Elderwood at Hamburg provides skilled nursing, long-term care, memory care, and subacute rehabilitation. You will help residents recovering from illness, injury, surgery, and hospitalization rebuild the skills needed for greater independence and a more confident return to everyday life. If you live in Hamburg, Orchard Park, West Seneca, East Aurora, Eden, Angola, Derby, Evans, Blasdell, Lackawanna, Lake View, or another nearby Southtowns community, this is an opportunity to do meaningful rehabilitation work close to home. Responsibilities COTA - Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant: As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you'll work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans that help residents maximize independence and safely perform daily activities. Responsibilities include:
Assists the Director Occupational Therapy in planning, developing and carrying out treatment programs and procedures for individuals.
