HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE...

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a key role in keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. By providing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment repairs, you will help maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and ensure production goals are achieved in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO...

  • Support production operations by maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and plant machinery.

  • Monitor equipment performance and quickly respond to mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automated equipment systems.

  • Provide electrical support, including troubleshooting Allen-Bradley controllers and PLC-controlled equipment.

  • Utilize knowledge of PLCs, ladder logic, and electrical systems to identify and correct equipment issues.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.

  • Assist in equipment setup, adjustments, and operational support during production runs.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and communicate equipment issues and repair activities to leadership and team members.

  • Work collaboratively with production personnel to support continuous operations and improve equipment performance.

  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), quality standards, and workplace safety policies.

  • Support weekend, overtime, and off-shift maintenance activities as business needs require.

  • Perform additional maintenance and operational duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE... (MUST HAVE)

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures and maintenance documentation.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance tasks.

  • Ability to pass required written and practical testing through BATC.

  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English to safely and effectively perform job responsibilities.

  • Willingness to work a night shift schedule, overtime, and weekends as needed.

  • Commitment to workplace safety, GMP compliance, and quality standards.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE... (NICE TO HAVE)

  • Associate degree in Maintenance Mechanics or a related technical field.

  • Previous Maintenance Mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Training or experience with:

    • PLC programming and troubleshooting

    • Allen-Bradley controllers

    • Electrical systems and controls

    • Ladder logic

    • Industrial automation systems

  • Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment reliability activities.

  • Food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods experience.

  • Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting techniques.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Pay: $35.50 per hour

  • Shift: Night Shift 6:00PM-6:00AM (Weekend and overtime work may be required based on business needs)

  • Location: 901 N. 200 W. Richmond, UT 84333

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
