Position Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative AI Product Manager to join Deltek's growing AI Center of Excellence team to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of internal AI-powered products and solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge internal stakeholder requirements, Agentic AI capabilities, and engineering execution to create impactful AI-driven experiences. This role requires strong product management expertise, a solid understanding of AI/ML technologies, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value. This role reports to the Senior Director, AI Solutions.

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered products

  • Identify business opportunities where AI can create measurable value

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer discovery to shape product decisions

  • Establish product goals, KPIs, and success metrics

Product Development

  • Collaborate with AI team, Engineering, Design, and Business teams throughout the product lifecycle

  • Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer impact and business objectives

  • Drive agile development processes and product releases

AI/ML Product Management

  • Partner with AI/ML teams to understand model capabilities, limitations, and performance metrics

  • Define requirements for model training, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement

  • Ensure responsible AI practices, including fairness, transparency, privacy, and compliance

  • Track model performance and recommend improvements based on customer feedback and data

Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate product vision and progress to executive leadership and key stakeholders

  • Align cross-functional teams around product priorities and business outcomes

  • Present product updates, business cases, and ROI analyses

Internal Customer Focus

  • Gather customer feedback and translate insights into product enhancements

  • Analyze product usage, customer behavior, and market trends

  • Drive adoption and customer satisfaction through data-driven decision-making

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related field

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience

  • 2+ years managing AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or data-driven products

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, including supervised learning, NLP, LLMs, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Business stakeholders

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

  • Experience with Agentic AI, Generative AI, LLMs, Claude, Copilots, agents, RAG architectures, or conversational AI platforms

  • Familiarity with Cursor AI, AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, OpenAI, AWS AI/ML, Google Vertex AI, or similar platforms

  • Knowledge of AI governance, model monitoring, data privacy, and regulatory requirements

  • Experience launching enterprise AI-native products

Compensation Info

The U.S. salary range for this position is $109,000.00-$192,750.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
