The annual salary range for this position is $55,000-$194,800. The hourly rate for this position is $26.35 - $93.30. See Specialist Series - Represented Fiscal Year for annual range. The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine, anticipates openings for Junior, Assistant, Associate, and full Specialists in the following fields: Alzheimer's Disease and other Dementias, Epilepsy, Neuroepidemiology, Movement Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Cognitive Neurology, Quantitative Brain Imaging, Neuromuscular Disease, Neuro-Oncology, Neuropsychology, Pain Management, Sleep, Experimental Therapeutics, Biomarkers and Precision Medicine, and Stroke. Additional Information: Applications are being sought for candidates with strong laboratory research backgrounds and specialized training. This is on-going recruitment. Positions are dependent upon extramural funding. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates must possess a BA/BS, Masters, PhD or MD/PhD degree by the proposed start date. Basic qualifications (required at time of application) Assistant Specialists - Should possess a Master's degree (or equivalent degree), or 5 yrs. of experience. Associate Specialists - Should possess a Master's degree (or equivalent degree) or 5-10 yrs. of experience.
